This week, Drs. Xiaotun Zhang and Debra A. Bell discuss the case of a woman presenting with lower abdominal pain. An emergent exploratory laparotomy revealed a ruptured left ovarian mass. After reviewing the immunohistochemical stains, ovarian large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma was diagnosed.
