    Study Shows Simple Finger Device May Help Predict Future Heart Events, Such as Heart Attack

Results of a Mayo Clinic study show that a simple, non-invasive finger sensor test is highly predictive of a major cardiac event, such as a heart attack, stroke or hospitalization, for people who are considered at low or moderate risk, according to researchers. Dr. Amir Lerman, M.D., a cardiologist at Mayo Clinic and the senior author of the study discusses the results and what they may mean.
