With all the news regarding our financial woes, why would this even be considered? Why not just do it the old fashion way, go to the nearest restroom and wash your hands.

What do we do with the old hand sanitizers and where do we find the new Lawson number

Shawn – Those of us who work in clinical/hospital areas of patient care appreciate having easy access to hand sanitizer immediately after having patient contact. Using hand sanitizers are more efficient, especially when having a busy outpatient schedule, rather than finding the nearest restroom, which may be located a considerable long distance.

Our transition to the Purell Green Certified Instant Hand Sanitizer is in progress. As evidenced by our initial trial of this product, our staff did not experience safety concerns such as untoward skin or fragrance issues with the Green Certified product. To improve hand-hygiene adherence among personnel who work in areas in which high workloads and high intensity of patient care are anticipated, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends an alcohol-based hand rub be available at the point of care areas as well as other identified convenient locations. For ordering purposes, the Lawson number associated with this product is 279618.
