I, too, fell into kidney failure in 2005 and endured dialysis for 14 months. But fortunately, my blood type is the rarest in the world (AB+) which can be an universal receptor. So, on our anniversary, my beloved husband donated his kidney to me. To quote “no diamond this year….you’re getting a big old kidney”. Is that love or not? We were at Mayo in Rochester, MN. and for my life I bless them and Jon, my husband.
