Jane – I’m so glad you shared your positive experience at Mayo Clinic. I do hope your daughter has found a GI close to home who will also correspond with her Mayo Clinic physician. We need all the help we can get. There are lots of great books on Crohn’s disease and I hope she is doing well and keeping up on new therapies. At one time I had a hour long massage once a month (benefits last for 3 weeks) and never felt better. Need to start treating myself again. We must respect the body and give it what it needs. Wishing you all health and happiness. Linda

We too experienced the same anxiety leaving the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. I brought my daughter for help with her new diagnosis of Crohn’s Disease. Our experience was incredible! From the very first phone call inquiring about coming all the way through to our appointments and treatments it was like no other health care experience. We didn’t want to leave… and my daughter wanted to relocate to Rochester. Even now, back at home it has been unbelievably hard to find a doctor as skilled and compassionate as our Mayo doctor. But she is just a phone call away, and we have called her for help in understanding treatments and second opinion consults. The Mayo Clinic is really utopia for patients and and their families trying to help. Thank you.
