I found the seizures were brought on by triggers which in turn caused an anxiety attack. Ativan has saved me. I grew up on Dilantin, Phenobarb, Tegritol to no avail. Gave up on a pill to cure it and tried to just reduce stress, which included drinking. It worked as well as previous meds if not better. I then had a very stressful moment in my life which caused an anxiety attack, and in turn a gran mall seizure. Since I have been on ativan I have beeen seizure free for 4 years.
