Very informative story in today's Times-Union about Mrs. Davis. What a pioneer! http://jacksonville.com/news/metro/2011-09-22/story/florence-flo-davis-1909-2011-family-matriarch-had-impact-jacksonville
It is fitting that the quote of the day from "The Loop" on Tuesday was the Dutch proverb that says "The generous man enriches himself by giving; the miser hoards himself poor." Truly J.E. and Flo Davis were living examples of that proverb and they passed that belief on to their children. How fortunate for us and the thousands upon thousands of patients whose lives have been transformed because of their generosity.
