By: THAD CRUMP https://newsnetwork.mayoclinic.org/discussion/mayo-clinic-minnesota-twins-team-up-for-improved-health/#comment-2655 Mon, 28 Mar 2011 13:58:25 +0000 https://sharing.mayoclinic.org/?p=4362#comment-2655 I am a former left-handed pitcher in the late 50’s and i threw a lot of curve balls . now i am at age 71 and haved developed pain in my left shoulder, constant pain, aspirin helps some not enough. i can reachedto the ceiling sometimes without any pain but when i bring it down it feels bad. one time i was so much pain that when i went to the y i pulled the paper towel down hard with it i coould have went thru the floor but then the pain left and i thought i had cured my pain. i went golfing thurs and my partner told me that i need to take the club back farther and go all the way forward and it seems like when i came thru and turn my left shoulder down and over on the other side. i did but no pain or pop and the pain came later any answers would be helpful i ;need no more cortiosone shots ;thad
