You probably know the sun’s rays are harmful to your skin. But, do you know the same ultraviolet (UV) light can hurt your eyes? Extended UV exposure can cause problems in your eyes and to the delicate skin around them.

In this Mayo Clinic Minute, dermatologist Dr. Dawn Davis explains why a good pair of sunglasses is much more than a fashion statement. Jeff Olsen reports.
