Mayo Clinic experts say some people who tan frequently may do so for the same reasons someone with OCD performs repetitive behaviors. They say it may have to do with the affects ultraviolet light has on the brain or skin.

In this Mayo Clinic Minute, reporter Vivien Williams talks to Dr. Dawn Davis, a Mayo Clinic dermatologist, about the connection between tanning beds and OCD.
