Hello, my name is Janice, our Son Patrick was a hero , He was hit by a car on January 17,2001 He stayed with us for 3 days, that was time for the whole family to come and see him. He was 9 at the time. They had come to us to ask if we would Donate should the worst happen, we had to think about that, we told them to give us time, we know that Patrick would want to help people, so we said yes. Well the time did come on January 20, [ name of recipient and recipient's location withheld by editor ] she was 8 years old at the time.We then meet this girl about 6 months later on a trip to [ location withheld by editor ] , it was so surreal we got to see her swim and listen to her Heart(one of my cousins is a nurse) her whole family was there, [ the recipient's ] grandmother said that when she woke up,she wanted to skateboard and thoughts of teeball and running outside, but her mother said that she never went outside she was a home body .So it was Patrick that wanted to run and play. They knew it was Patrick coming through. That was so comforting to hear. and to let us know he was living on though her. It helped us get though that time, it still is hard 16 years later , but it did help. I wanted to share this with you. Patrick's Liver, kidney's went to help others also . Patrick will always be our hero !!
