It will be interesting to see if you ever get the opportunity to see what happens to patients who are under continuing care for more than one condition. In my experience and that of many others I have spoken with, the story is quite a bit different. Mayo is wonderful at diagnosis and care–but only if the patient’s case doesn’t require coordination across many specialities and between the clinic and hospital. Collaborative diagnosis–yes; collaborative care-no. Good luck is continuing to find honesty.
