Individualized medicine, also known as personalized medicine or precision medicine, is tailoring diagnosis and treatment to each patient to optimize care. Using a person's unique genetic code, researchers and health care providers can more effectively and precisely diagnose, treat, predict and, eventually, prevent disease.  In this Mayo Clinic Radio Health Minute, Dr. Keith Stewart, provides an example.
