Hi Tom. We do allow comments on the YouTube videos. Mainly we hold to the same general guidelines as for the comments on our blogs, except with YouTube there isn’t advance moderation like there can be with a blog. If someone is clearly trying to use the comments for commercial purposes, we will generally delete those. But because the comments on YouTube are not on a Mayo-owned site, and because readers will know that the comments don’t represent Mayo’s opinion, we have chosen to allow viewer comments.
