The scenario is all too common on soccer fields and basketball courts. An athlete jumps to get the ball, lands hard and blows out a knee. Because of physiological differences, girls are actually four to six times more likely to suffer a certain kind of knee injury than boys. So, Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine experts developed a training camp focused on helping young female athletes prevent knee injuries. Vivien Williams has this report.
