I remember waiting at the hospital with Caroline and the rest of my family while Andy was in surgery. I kept thinking of the day he was born and how on that day I wasn’t permitted to see him. However, on the day of his second birth, I was there to see him leave for surgery and I heard the elevator bring him back after surgery. Wouldn’t have missed it for anything in the world. Thank you Trevor for writing your blog.

I just read your wonderful entry- story about your transplant..You write so well and it is very inspiring..I had inquired to your Dad how you were doing after Dec. but never heard. Dec 1st was my Mother’s bday and I found it somewhat eery that was the day you got your transplant. I would love to think she helped you on your journey…I hope all is well and the medications are working. My cousin has had a lung transplant now for many many years and she does fine…God bless and if you care to please let me know how you are..
