A University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire journalism graduate, Susan is a former newspaper reporter and editor, earning awards from Milwaukee Press Club, Wisconsin Newspaper Association, Epilepsy Foundation and National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, among others. She joined Mayo Clinic Health System in 2005 and Mayo Clinic in 2015.
