Sonya Goins (@sonyagoins)

Sonya Goins is a communications specialist who joined Mayo Clinic in 2023. She creates Mayo Clinic Minutes and patient-focused storytelling. She graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism. She has spent over two decades in television news, working at Black Entertainment Television, WCCO-TV, KARE-11 and CCX News. Outside of her professional endeavors, Sonya is a passionate Vikings fan, Korean language learner and avid runner.
