Tune in to webcasts and Facebook Live for what’s next in personalized patient care
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Individualized medicine, also known as precision or personalized medicine, is the concept that prediction, diagnosis, treatment and, eventually, prevention can be matched to an individual patient based on genetics, environment and lifestyle. The Mayo Clinic Center for Individualized Medicine is a catalyst in moving personalized medicine from the laboratory to clinical care.
The Center for Individualized Medicine is convening leaders in precision medicine from across the country and the world to share practical ways to bring individualized medicine to the hands of physicians and ultimately to the patient’s bedside as part of Individualizing Medicine 2016: Advancing Care Through Genomics.
To help you report the latest news in precision medicine, Mayo Clinic is making these experts available to the media through webcasts, Facebook Live and on-site interviews. If you’re a journalist and cannot make it to Rochester, you can access webcasts and Facebook Live feeds from your computer or mobile devices.
