Dr. Farrugia ranked on Modern Healthcare’s list of ‘100 Most Influential People in Healthcare’

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Gianrico Farrugia, M.D., Mayo Clinic's president and CEO, has been named as one of the "100 Most Influential People in Healthcare" for 2021 by Modern Healthcare magazine.
According to the magazine, this recognition acknowledges and honors people who are deemed by their peers and the senior editors of Modern Healthcare to be the most influential people in the industry in terms of leadership and impact. A feature article, and profiles of the winners, are on the Modern Healthcare website.
"This recognition is not about me. It is about honoring Mayo Clinic staff who serve our patients every day," says Dr. Farrugia. "I'm proud of how our staff have gone above and beyond, delivering care over the past two years during the COVID-19 pandemic."
