BEIJING, China, and ROCHESTER, Minn. — Mayo Clinic and Amcare Healthcare Group (Amcare) jointly announced that Beijing Amcare Hospital and Arion Cancer Center, part of Amcare, have officially joined the Mayo Clinic Care Network.

Amcare Healthcare Group operates multiple hospitals and outpatient centers across Beijing, Tianjin, Hangzhou, and Shenzhen in China. Founded in 2006, the healthcare organization provides women's and children's services. In recent years, the group has expanded to treat complex diseases across all specialties, most notably with the establishment of the Arion Cancer Center in 2021 and the opening of the Beijing Amcare Hospital in January 2025.

Created in 2011, the Mayo Clinic Care Network includes carefully selected independent organizations worldwide committed to enhancing the quality of healthcare to improve patients' lives. Members retain their independence while benefiting from Mayo Clinic's decades of experience and best practices.

"We are honored to welcome Beijing Amcare Hospital and Arion Cancer Center to the Mayo Clinic Care Network," says Jorge Pascual, M.D., medical director of Strategic Relationships at Mayo Clinic. "Their mission to provide compassionate care to every patient closely aligns with our values. We look forward to sharing best practices on patient-centered care, innovative care models and ongoing quality improvement."

As Mayo Clinic Care Network members, Beijing Amcare Hospital and Arion Cancer Center have access to Mayo Clinic's extensive clinical knowledge and expertise to enhance patient care.

"Following the membership with the Mayo Clinic Care Network, our group will benefit from Mayo Clinic's clinical experience, medical standards and best practices," says Hu Lan, M.D., founder and CEO of Amcare Healthcare Group. "With the ability to consult Mayo Clinic's research, diagnostic and treatment resources, Beijing Amcare Hospital and Arion Cancer Center providers can treat more of their patients close to home."

We will integrate these resources into daily complex cancer care, empowering our physicians with insights from Mayo Clinic's specialists, and enabling local patients to access high-level, reliable cancer care services right where they live."

Through the Mayo Clinic Care Network, healthcare professionals at Beijing Amcare Hospital and Arion Cancer Center will have access to a variety of Mayo Clinic tools and services.

Beijing Amcare Hospital, Arion Cancer Center and other members of the Mayo Clinic Care Network remain independent. Mayo Clinic Care Network has more than 45 member organizations across the U.S. and in Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.
