    Mayo Clinic Honors Outstanding Employees at Patient Experience Excellence Day

Mae Berry Excellence awardROCHESTER, Minn. — Mayo Clinic marks Patient Experience Excellence Day on June 14 to celebrate all that employees do for patients every day.

Mayo Clinic will host a dinner and ceremony that evening in Rochester to recognize recipients of the Mae Berry Service Excellence Award and Patient Experience Awards.

WHO: The Mae Berry Service Excellence Award honors eight non-physician employees from Mayo Clinic Health System and from Mayo Clinic campuses in Arizona, Florida and Rochester. The Patient Experience Awards honor 128 clinical areas and hospital units from across Mayo Clinic.

WHAT: A reception to recognize employees for their outstanding commitment to Mayo Clinic’s mission — the needs of the patient come first — and to celebrate all employees who work to accomplish this mission every day.

The Mae Berry Service Excellence Award recognizes allied health employees who provide outstanding service, serve as role models and inspire others, act selflessly to meet the needs of patients and co-workers, and go above and beyond daily to serve patients, co-workers and clients.

The Patient Experience Awards recognize departments, divisions and hospital units that score in the top 10 percent in national patient satisfaction surveys.

WHERE: Siebens Building, Phillips Hall, 100 2nd Ave. S.W., Rochester, Minnesota

WHEN: Tuesday, June 14, 5:30 p.m. (Journalists should arrive between 5-5:15 p.m.)
