An “Ideal” Employer

Every year, college students from around the country participate in a survey sponsored by Universum Communications to determine which companies they aspire to work for. More than 56,000 undergraduate students have spoken and Mayo Clinic has once again been listed as an "Ideal" employer. Not only has Mayo maintained the #20 overall ranking for the third consecutive year, but it also earned the #2 ranking among science students. Furthermore, Mayo is the only hospital or health care provider that was ranked among the top 100 employers.

What makes the Universum survey unique is that companies do not apply for or pay their way onto the list. Rather, company participation is only garnered because of student demand. This is the sixth consecutive year in which Mayo has appeared on the "Ideal" employer list.
