Davis, Dunn to join Mayo Clinic Board of Trustees
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Jed Davis, president and CEO of DDI Inc., which operates the Davis Family Office headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, and AJ Dunn, chief administrative officer of Mayo Clinic in Florida, were elected to the Mayo Clinic Board of Trustees at its quarterly meeting on Feb. 17.

About Jed Davis
At DDI, Davis oversees several business operations and investment interests in land and timber properties, master plan community developments, commercial real estate, and the private and public equity markets.
Davis is a native of Jacksonville and graduate of the University of North Florida. His commitment to the community is reflected through his involvement with charitable boards and organizations on the local and national level. Locally, he serves on Jacksonville University's Davis College of Business Executive Advisory Board, the board of governors for Timuquana Country Club and the board of trustees for Riverside Presbyterian Day School and is founder and club director of the Jax Lax Lacrosse Club. Davis and his wife have three sons.
About AJ Dunn
Dunn has been chief administrative officer of Mayo Clinic in Florida since Dec. 1, 2021. Dunn began his career at Mayo in 2002 as an administrative fellow and, most recently, was chair of Advanced Care at Home and Digital Practice Strategy.
Dunn holds a bachelor's degree in physical therapy and a master's degree in health care administration from the University of Florida. He has held numerous leadership roles at Mayo Clinic in Florida spanning surgical practice, medical practice, hospital operations and individualized medicine. Board-certified in health care management as a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, Dunn is passionate about education, leadership development and civic engagement.
Dunn has deep roots in local, regional and national nonprofit service. He serves on the board of the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida, the board of directors for the World Affairs Council of Jacksonville and is a regent-at-large for the American College of Healthcare Executives.
He and his wife and children live in Ponte Vedra, Florida.
The Mayo Clinic Board of Trustees also reelected three trustees:
- Jay Alix
Alix founded AlixPartners, the global advisory firm and industry standard for providing comprehensive solutions for companies facing complex operating, financial, legal and restructuring challenges. He has led and advised on some of the largest and most complex restructurings and turnarounds of the past four decades. Alix has generously given $225 million to Mayo Clinic, including a $200 million gift – the largest in Mayo Clinic history – to the formerly named Mayo Clinic School of Medicine, renamed the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine in appreciation of his gift.
- George Bilicic
Bilicic is the vice chairman of investment banking at Lazard Freres & Co., LLC, heading the firm's global efforts in power, energy and infrastructure. Bilicic also serves as a member of the firm's Global Executive Committee. Previously, he served as president of Sempra Energy, a diversified energy company headquartered in San Diego; as the managing director and head of infrastructure at KKR, where he was responsible for initiating and leading KKR's global infrastructure investing efforts; and as a partner at the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
- Nancy Peretsman
Peretsman is a managing director of Allen & Company LLC, a closely held private investment bank based in New York City. In addition to her mergers and acquisitions and capital raising practice, Peretsman has had the privilege to serve as an advisor to some of the most influential entrepreneurs and executives in the media, e-commerce and consumer internet businesses.
The board recognized and honored one emeritus trustee:
- Charles Tomm
Tomm is chairman and CEO of Pablo River Partners in Jacksonville, Florida, an investor in retail automotive dealerships. He is also a director of Shoe Carnival Inc. (SCVL, NASDAQ), a leading retailer of family footwear. Previously, he was president and CEO of Brumos Automotive (Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Lexus) in Jacksonville until its sale in early 2016.
