
With schools back in session, many parents are again on the alert for easily transmissible childhood diseases. Hand, foot and mouth disease is one of them. Pediatric dermatologist with the Mayo Clinic Children's Center, Megha Tollefson, M.D., says it's usually not a big concern. But, in certain circumstances, hospitalization may be required.
