ROCHESTER, Minn. — The north location of Mayo Clinic Express Care, located in Hy-Vee at 4221 West Circle Drive, is now open weekends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patients without COVID-19 symptoms can be seen at this location for acute care needs through scheduled and walk-in appointments.

In addition to new weekend hours, Mayo Clinic Express Care now offers:

Video visits

Video visits are available for patients ages 18 months through 75 years with certain minor acute conditions weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. A Patient Online Services account is required, as is a computer or mobile device with speakers or headset, camera and internet connection. Video visits are available as soon as 20 minutes from the time of requesting an appointment. If an interpreter is needed, appointments can be scheduled in as little as 40 minutes. Video visits are like face-to-face visits, but instead of going to the clinic, patients video chat with a health care provider on their phone or computer. The cost of a Mayo Clinic Express Care video visit is $69. Insurance may partially or completely cover a visit's cost. Patients should check with their insurance company for coverage questions.

Self-scheduling

Patients can self-schedule Mayo Clinic Express Care appointments, including video visits, through Patient Online Services, or on the Mayo Clinic App, which is available on Apple and Android for phone, tablet and watch. They also can call their local appointment line to schedule an appointment if they are unable to schedule one online.

COVID-19 precautions at Mayo Clinic Express Care

All patients are screened for COVID-19 symptoms during appointment scheduling and when they arrive. Patients with COVID-19 symptoms should call the COVID-19 nurse line at 507-293-9525 or use the Check Symptoms tool instead of seeking care in person at Mayo Clinic Express Care.
