
A childhood obesity epidemic exists in the U.S. Mayo Clinic experts say 1 out of every 3 kids is overweight or obese, and that can increase the risk for health problems such as Type 2 diabetes. But, being over weight is not the only factor in increasing that risk. A new study shows teens who are out of shape are also at increased risk for Type 2 diabetes in the future, even if they are not overweight.
