Women are more likely than men to have difficulty falling and staying asleep, according to the National Sleep Foundation. In one foundation survey on woman and sleep, results showed the average woman ages 30–60 sleeps only 6 hours and 41 minutes on weeknights — less than what’s recommended for most adults.
