    Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine offers walk-in Saturday sports injury clinic

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine provides a Saturday morning injury clinic for middle school, high school and college athletes injured during Friday night or Saturday morning sports activities. The clinic is open each Saturday through Oct. 14 from 8 a.m. to noon CDT.

Appointments may be scheduled by calling 507-266-6690 starting at 7:30 a.m. CDT on Saturday.  Walk-ins are welcome, but people with appointments will receive priority. Insurance is billed for these visits.

The Saturday morning injury clinic is on the third floor of the Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center. Two physicians, as well as a physical therapist and athletic trainer, staff the clinic. Care options include X-rays, splinting, bracing, crutch instruction, concussion evaluation and treatment, and rehabilitation exercises.
