
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine will provide Saturday morning injury clinics for middle school, high school and college athletes injured during Friday night sports activities.
The clinics will be open each Saturday from Sept. 3 to Oct. 15, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Patients may schedule appointments by calling 507-266-9100 starting at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. The appointments begin at 8 a.m. and patients with appointments will receive priority. Walk-in patients are welcome, but must arrive by 11 a.m. Insurance is charged for these visits.
The clinics will be located at Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine on the third floor of the Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center, 565 1st St S.W., Rochester. A sports medicine physician, sports medicine fellow, physical therapist and athletic trainer will staff the clinics. Services offered include: X-rays, splinting, bracing, crutch instruction, concussion evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation exercises.
