On Mayo Clinic Radio, breast cancer specialist Dr. Sandhya Pruthi discusses advancements in treatments and improved survival rates for breast cancer. Also on the program, breast surgeon Dr. Judy Boughey explains the latest recommendations on contralateral prophylactic mastectomy and discusses whether a healthy breast should be removed as a preventative measure against future cancer risk.
