
ROCHESTER, Minn. — The 17th Annual Olmsted County Public Health Awards will be presented this morning during the 9 a.m. CDT Olmsted County Board of Commissioners meeting at Government Center.
These awards recognize exceptional contributions to improving the health of individuals, families and communities in Olmsted County. Each awardee plays a critical role in making Olmsted County a healthier place to live, learn, work and play.
The 2016 Public Health Awards include recognition of two such collaborative achievements from Mayo Clinic:

Mayo Clinic collaborates with Olmsted County Public Health in many initiatives, including the Rochester Epidemiology Project, a unique national resource that will celebrate 50 years of continuous funding by the National Institutes of Health in 2016.
