Sep 27, 2016 · Granulosa Cell Tumor of the Ovary Requires Regular, Long-term Follow-up

Dear Mayo Clinic, My 27 year old daughter was diagnosed with adult granulosa cellular tumor. Stage 1C because her capsule had rubtured. They thought they were going in to remove a Twisted ovary. She suffered for 3 days because the emergency room said she had a cyst. They removed the ovary/ tumor. 8 weeks later She went in for a full hysterectomy. All sampled came back clean from the hysterectomy. We are confused on the issue to follow with chemo or do observation. Do you have any data to support that chemo could lesson her chance of reaccurance?
