In a Wall Street Journal article this week, reporter Ron Winslow wrote, "More than 200,000 Americans each year undergo a major operation called bariatric surgery to treat obesity. But doctors say millions more might opt for treatment if it were less invasive and more patient-friendly." Well, at Mayo Clinic more than a decade of research has produced a two-hour outpatient procedure that shrinks the stomach, with minimal side effects. Here’s Dennis Douda with more. [TRT 1:27]
