    Understanding Prostate Cancer

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in American men and is the second leading cause of cancer death in men. The American Cancer Society estimates that more than 192,000 new cases of prostate cancer and more than 27,000 deaths resulting from the disease will occur during 2009.

September is National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and now is a good time to learn the facts about prostate cancer and its prevention.
