Hurricane Ian impacts Florida operations
Hurricane Ian made landfall Wednesday along the Florida coast as a Category 4 storm. Flooding rain and high winds are expected to move up and across the state.
Mayo Clinic is closely monitoring the projected impact, but for now, the clinic and hospital in Jacksonville will remain open. However, operational changes for Thursday, Sept. 29, and Friday, Sept. 30, are as follows:
- Only surgeries and outpatient procedures considered urgent or emergent will be conducted. All others will be rescheduled. Patients are being notified.
- The COVID-19 drive-thru facility will be closed Thursday and Friday, but will resume normal operations on Saturday, Oct. 1.
- The vaccine clinic will be closed Thursday and Friday, but will resume normal operations on Monday, Oct. 3.
- The St. Augustine Primary Care location will be closed Thursday and Friday.
