Mayo Clinic expresses deep gratitude to Mr. Powell, outgoing chair. During his tenure as chair of the Mayo Clinic Board of Trustees, Powell strengthened the depth of talent on the board. In his capacity as Mayo Clinic Board of Trustees chair, Powell provided invaluable leadership and guidance as Mayo Clinic executed its goal to transform healthcare.
"With his integrity and compassion, Michael Powell enabled Mayo Clinic to continue advancing our vision for the future of healthcare, and we are deeply grateful for his service," says Dr. Farrugia. "He inspires innovation while always staying true to the values that are central to our mission."
