Biju Samkutty named chief operating officer for Mayo Clinic International
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Biju Samkutty has been named chief operating officer for Mayo Clinic International. Samkutty will partner with G. Anton Decker, MBBCh, president of Mayo Clinic International, to extend the reach of Mayo Clinic's services worldwide.
Samkutty was selected for his wealth of global and domestic business experience. Since 2018, he has served as chief operating officer of Intrafusion, a full-service infusion management company owned by McKesson Corp. In this role, he was responsible for the development and general management of more than 100 community health sites across 31 states.
Prior to that, Samkutty held additional leadership roles at McKesson Corp., including senior vice president of the McKesson Specialty Health Program Office, senior vice president for Global Brand Pharmaceuticals ― which afforded him the opportunity to live in London for three years ― and vice president of Generic National Accounts.
"I am thrilled to welcome Biju to the team," Dr. Decker says. "He has an excellent track record of driving results, a deep understanding of global health care, and strong characteristics of a servant leader."
