ROCHESTER, Minn. — Gianrico Farrugia, M.D., Mayo Clinic's president and CEO, has been named as one of the "50 Most Influential Clinical Executives" by Modern Healthcare magazine.
According to the magazine, this program honors individuals in health care who are deemed by their peers and the senior editors of Modern Healthcare to be paving the way to better health through their executive responsibilities, leadership qualities, innovation, community service and achievements inside and outside of their organizations. A feature article and profiles of the winners can be found on the Modern Healthcare website.
“This honor recognizes the work that all Mayo Clinic staff are doing to transform health care,” said Dr. Farrugia. “Transformation takes all of us – not just one of us.”
