Mayo Clinic staff in Rochester got an introduction to the new Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center at an open house on Aug. 17. An estimated 10,000 attended the event, with facility tours, refreshments and a chance to win prizes. The center opened Sept. 4.

The new center features more cardiovascular equipment, an on-site café with healthy snacks, lap and water aerobics pools, top-of-the-line stationary bicycles and a dedicated cycling studio, an indoor track, women-only and beginner workout areas, on-site child care while working out, wellness evaluations, and much more.

Membership is available to all Mayo employees, students in Mayo education programs, volunteers, retirees, spouses and domestic partners.
