PHOENIX – Mayo Clinic will host "Living With Cancer: A Mayo Clinic Symposium for Patients and Their Loved Ones" Jan. 16-17 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort, 5350 East Marriott Drive, Phoenix.
This complimentary patient symposium will feature an internationally renowned group of speakers who will provide comprehensive, patient-friendly information on the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, and provide attendees with information on many shared issues facing cancer patients, family members and caregivers. This symposium will address many unmet needs that patients and their loved ones have, but rarely are discussed in the exam room. This information is crucial for people who are in active treatment, are recovering, or have been cured.
Mayo Clinic specialists and doctors will talk about various treatments and lifestyle issues for people being treating for or recovering from cancer.
For more information about the symposium, email mcaevents@mayo.edu, or download the symposium brochure. Also, watch video presentations from the 2015 Living with Cancer symposium.
