Mayo Clinic’s Destination Medical Center (DMC) to Be Discussed on TPT-TV’s Almanac

The ground-breaking partnership, Destination Medical Center, will be the subject of conversation tonight on Minnesota Public Television station TPT's Almanac program at 7:00 p.m. CDT. Bill George, a member of the Mayo Clinic Board of Trustees and former Chairman and CEO of Medtronic, will talk about the promise of DMC in a 1 on 1 interview with TPT Anchor/Reporter Mary Lahammer. George is Mayo Clinic's representative on the Destination Medical Center Corporation (DMCC) Board.
Destination Medical Center is a multi-billion dollar joint partnership between Mayo Clinic, the state of Minnesota, the City of Rochester, Olmsted Country and other local government agencies. It's goal is to continue and expand Mayo Clinic's mission of world class patient care, medical research and education, while also creating tens of thousands of jobs.
Bill George is currently a professor of management practice at Harvard Business School and serves as a director on the boards of ExxonMobil and Goldman Sachs, as well as Mayo Clinic. He is also an author and sought-after global speaker and commentator.
