
Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia, but another type called dementia with Lewy bodies, or DLB, comes in second. Both diseases share some symptoms, and because of this, dementia with Lewy bodies is often misdiagnosed. The diseases are different and require separate treatments.
