Mayo Clinic Announces Four Performances in November for the Rosemary and Meredith Willson Harmony for Mayo Program

ROCHESTER, Minn. — The public is invited to enjoy four Rosemary and Meredith Willson Harmony for Mayo Program concerts in November. Performances will be on Mondays from 12:10 to 1 p.m. in Barbara Woodward Lips Atrium, subway level, Rochester Methodist Hospital, Charlton Building, 10 Third Ave. NW, unless otherwise noted.

The schedule is: Nov. 4: A Meditation and Memorial concert will be held in Lips Atrium. This concert is dedicated to the memories of lost loved ones and features music from soprano and
Mayo Medical School student Elizabeth Hillebrand; singer, songwriter and pianist Sarah Monson; and guitarist and songwriter Dean Magraw.

Nov. 11: A special Veteran's Day program will feature
Tim Hildebrandt in Hage Atrium, subway level,
Siebens Building, 200 First St. SW. Hildebrandt has been writing, performing, producing and recording award-winning music since the 1960s. He owns CamelBack Studio in Rochester.

Nov. 18: Classical pianist Elizabeth Wolff will perform in Lips Atrium. Wolff, who earned a Master of Science degree from
The Juilliard School, is co-director of Chamber Music Retreats at Vassar College. After successful tours of Europe, she was invited to Vienna in 1997 to perform works by Johannes Brahms in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of his death. Wolff has led master classes around the globe and has received prestigious international awards.

Nov. 25: The Honors Choirs of Southeast Minnesota Concert Choir will perform in Lips Atrium. The Honors Choirs is a nonprofit organization of four auditioned youth choirs for singers in grades three through 12. Honors Choirs is in its 22nd season.
The Honors Concert Choir features auditioned young men and women from southeast Minnesota in grades 10–12. Rick Kvam conducts and Jan Kvam accompanies the choir on piano.

Sponsored by Mayo Clinic Center for Humanities in Medicine, the Rosemary and Meredith Willson Harmony for Mayo Program is coordinated by the Choral Arts Ensemble of Rochester. The series is generously funded by the late Rosemary Willson in memory of her husband, Meredith Willson, who wrote the Broadway musical "The Music Man."
