Eric Green, M.D., Ph.D., head of the NIH’s National Human Genome Research Institute, will give the keynote presentation. Richard Besser, M.D., chief medical correspondent for ABC News and a former acting director of the Centers for Disease Control, will emcee the first half of the conference. Ceci Connolly, an award-winning healthcare journalist and managing director of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Health Research Institute will take over the job on Tuesday afternoon.
