Mayo Clinic Minute: Obesity and ADHD
Obesity and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) are common conditions in the United States. Research led by experts at Mayo Clinic shows there is a connection between the two. In a study published in the journal Mayo Clinic Proceedings, the researchers found that for women, there is an association between having ADHD as a child and being obese as an adult.
